Paul was born and raised on Tybee Island, GA. His great-grandfather was the last lighthouse keeper for the Tybee Island Lighthouse. Paul Graduated from Benedictine Military School in 1987. He lettered in three sports while at Benedictine. He graduated from Armstrong College in 1992 with a degree in Criminal Justice. He married the love of his life, a lifelong Savannah girl Carrie Holscher Jackson in March of 1993. He then opened the “Garden Bistro” restaurant in 1995. Over the next decade, Paul would open up and own several other restaurants in the Savannah area including “Cousin Vinnie’s Pizza” on Tybee Island.

Real Estate Education
Paul became interested in real estate in 2015. His mother, Terry Jackson, has been a reputable and established agent in the Savannah and Tybee Island markets for nearly 30 years. Paul was offered a job in operations for Coldwell Banker Platinum Partners that same year. He completed his obligation to his teaching and coaching job in 2016, and began working for the owners of CBPP, Tom and Christy Woiwode in June of 2016. Paul earned his real estate license that summer and has been working for Tom and Christy since then. Paul has also earned his license as real estate instructor and his license as a property and casualty insurance agent in the state of Georgia as well. He will soon begin his C.C.I.M. designation for commercial real estate.

Prior to Real Estate
While owning and operating Cousin Vinnie’s Pizza, Paul decided to go back to school and earn his graduate degree in Education. Paul loved the restaurant business, but his true passion was teaching and coaching. While still owning his restaurant, Paul began teaching at a small private school in Savannah, and he realized that this was what he was meant to do. He immediately began coaching basketball, volleyball and softball, as well as supervising the school’s Odyssey of the Mind (O.T.M.) science competition program. Paul became Dean of Students in 2010, and then Principal in 2012. Paul coached both a middle school girl’s and a middle school boys’ basketball team to city championships, and took Odyssey of the Mind teams to the Georgia state finals for six consecutive years.
